You are purchasing the 2003 Steve Rude Sketchbook. The book is comprised of pages directly from his sketchbook and includes everything from charcoal studies to pen and ink studies to paintings. Also includes 2 full pages of Spider-Man studies plus several pages of Jack Kirby and Marvel stuff (Captain America, Thor, etc).

The book also includes studies of Marilyn Monroe, Eminem (for his Villiage Voice cover), Star Trek's Captain Kirk, and studies from various other artists including Gil Elvgren, Petty, Andrew Loomis, and many more.

The book is 40 pages in softcover with high quality paper used on the interior. Everything is in black and white. Pages are 8-1/2 x 11. Lots of handwritten notes. Beautiful package!

These sketchbooks from Steve Rude art are just gorgeous. His work is beautiful to behold, and they always do such a good job with the production values on these books. I think the price is a little high and therefore have to wait for a sale, but overall you can't go wrong if you're a lover of fine art.

Great stuff!

Love these sketchbooks from Steve Rude. They're so professional and beautiful to look at. I wish they were more affordable - I was only able to snatch a few of these due to a wonderful holiday sale that was going on. I'd love to order more books like this from Steve Rude, but the shipping costs/high prices sometimes scare me away.

Beautiful & Informative Sketchbooks & a Surprise Signature on the "Clobbered" Print!

I had to order the "B" cover of the Sketchbook, since the Dude is known as the expert on Space Ghost and all other H-B heroes! Love it! Inside the Sketchbooks are lots of beautiful artwork of course, but also a master class of how it's done! Just amazing to explore the Dude's process and see how all of his experience continues to grow and evolve.

The "Clobbered" Thing print is gorgeous! I had to treat myself to a print of my favorite hero and Dave always makes him seem both believable and fun. Plus, Jaynelle upgraded my purchase to include a signature - thanks for this great bonus.

Even though I ordered this a while back - and it came super fast in the mail - I didn't receive it till Christmas morning. My wife squirreled it all away before I had a chance to see it! But it sure was worth the wait! Can't thank you enough!
